[SA/PC/Mobile] Improved Streaming (corrigir mapa não carregando)

Mod anteriormente chamado de “Load Whole Map“, faz um pré-carregamento dos arquivos do jogo para melhorar o uso de memória RAM, assim diminuindo o uso de disco e processamento.

Com isto, corrige “buracos” azuis no mapa devido aos objetos demorando para carregar. Também corrige ou evita os “engasgos”, “lag spikes”, “stutter”, durante o gameplay.

O mod inclui arquivos .ini de configuração para pré-carregar somente os veículos, vegetação, props, pedestres, animações (.ifp) etc. Útil por exemplo para evitar engasgos em mods de carros HD. No download de PC virá várias configurações prontas.

Inclui um “preload” de LODs (objetos de baixa definição visto de longe) que funciona melhor do que o Project2DFX e corrige os buracos no mapa.

Não só isso: originalmente o jogo só descarrega os recursos quando atinge o limite, isto aumenta o uso de streaming por descarregar e carregar muitos modelos no mesmo frame, atrasando e causando engasgos. Este mod descarrega automaticamente os recursos não usados, assim evitando atingir o limite, otimizando o uso de RAM e deixando o jogo respirar. Há mais detalhes aqui.

O mod já foi altamente testado com stress test e gameplay prático. Realmente melhora o desempenho do GTA SA (não 100%, veja mais dicas aqui), é estável, e diminui lag (aumenta FPS), inclusive no SAMP.

Altamente recomendado Open Limit Adjuster, ou f92la bem configurado.

Inclui opção convertida para SA Android pelo XMDS! Requer AML.

  1. this mod just makes your game lag even more than without it + causes crashes, try going super fast with NoClip you will lag alot vs. without it, you wont lag, enough with this “loading” bs

    it also causes alot of memory leaks

  2. Improved Streaming está causando um certo conflito com SkyGfx, ao usar ambos os mods em conjunto, a função de reflexos dos carros no SkyGfx deixa de funcionar em certos veículos (carros dos ballas e dos vagos). Eu usei a versão do SkyGfx extended então não sei se tem algo haver.

  3. I have FLA and MixSets and this mod give no any practical effect.
    Trees are not preloading with any .ini i’ve tried. So flying hydra low will cause a dead by hitting trees 100% because it can’t load so fast.
    P.S.
    I don’t know if it also may relate to, but Draw Distance is also low.

Hey Junior nice work on this one, but I think there’s a minor bug that causes traffic to despawn, I already modify every value and reinstall some of modloader but still the same, I appreciate if you fix it, its minor, I can respawn the traffic again it if I reload the game or reload saves but its annoying

  5. hey, junior. remember me? haha, mind if i tell a crash problem? if you use improved streaming with skygfx HD details you will get a crash, i dont really have time to do the crashlog but u can try it yourself
    ps. try using improved streaming and skygfx with HD details you will get a crash, and if u delete model folder you wont

    edit: ok i have found the problem it seems to be a conflict with the new low tree style mod (i deleted the wood textures from hd details and it worked)

    update: so if u have a tree mod that retextures it and use HD details, if u dont delete the wood texture you will crash

    and by the way enhanced classic graphics particle txd also crashes if u use HD details, the water texture. HD details causes alot of conflicts

    update 2: all the things i said above works without improved streaming

    • Thanks, dude! My comment basically says that it’s crashing too, and i use BSOR American Dream and SkyGfx with HD details, do you think it’s the reason why it crashes after leaving the (Grove St.) safe house?

      Edit: Deleting HD “mobile_details.txd” gets rid of the crash. I also use Enhance ParticleTXD and got some crashes even before using Improved Streaming, so i’ll take a look at it too. Thanks a lot!

    • i dont really have time to do the crashlog but u can try it yourself

      I think it’s funny that you say that but you spend a lot of time doing other tests and writing down the result of each test, but don’t send the most important: the log.

      I tested it here, opened the game 5 dozens times with these mods, it didn’t crash.

  6. O mod causa crashes no meu GTA: SA ao sair da casa segura. Tenho vários outros mods, mas estão organizados e (pelo que vi) sem conflitos. O crash (a memória não pôde ser read) sempre tem um nº diferente, e o CrashInfo não mostra a raíz do problema (uma vez apareceu, mas fechou rapidamente. Já o testei e o mod funciona). O que faço?

  8. Esse mod está bugando o reflexo dos carros. Sem esse mod, o reflexo dos carros usando o Skygfx extended ficam bem reflexivos, já com ele, alguns carros (Majestic, Greenwood, Tahoma entre outros) ficam com a pintura fosca!!

  9. o meu fica com casas, prédios e etc piscando sempre ao iniciar o jogo, para parar com isso eu tenho que recarregar o jogo (e nem para 100%). Meu stream memory já esta em 2000 e tudo o que o Leiame ou morra fala eu já fiz, mas mesma assim continua com esse problemas
    Alguma solução?

    • Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe no further configuration is required.
      If you have problems loading textures, you can change “stream memory” to 512, 1024 or 2048.
      Remembering that for values above 1024 you should use an executable with “Largeaddress” applied, otherwise you may experience crashes after playing for a while.
      The executable available on the Miscellaneous-C website already comes with Largeaddress applied. Search for “Crack 1.0 US Compact (+4GB patch)”

  10. É incrível que com quase 50 comentários, somente 1 realmente parece ser um problema do mod.

    As pessoas precisam ter mais conhecimento sobre isso de “stream memory”, até hoje as pessoas ainda não entendem que isso é o que define o limite de memória do jogo (usada para o carregamento do mapa etc, não é o limite de RAM do seu PC) e portanto precisa aumentar caso use mods HD e tal.
    Eu pensei em fazer um algoritimo que detecta a necessidade e aumenta automaticamente pra esse mod, mas eu não consigo pensar em nada “perfeito” para automatizar.

      • This has nothing to do with it, people need to increase stream memory if they use HD mods etc. This is standard game thing, it has nothing to do with this mod, this mod is just another one that increases stream memory usage so people need to increase.

        • mostly HD mods are map or car textures
          But until IfBiggerThan and IfSmallerThan are fixed you can’t control this mod as it only gives you 2gb
          Therefore, I advised to disable these two options before updating
          I need this mod, I want to load all my big .dff cars into memory.

  11. Although it is a copy of Load Whole Map it is a good effort. Unfortunately, blue holes, like Load Whole Map, do not close without Project2DFX. Now about memory depends on what everyone uses. The last setting is clearly not recommended even if you have the 4GB of FLA. All the others work with MixSets and OLA with the combination MixSets = 2048 + OLA = 15% because if is in 30% hits the limit.

    • I really tested it a lot, including with RoSA Evolved and the problem with the map holes was really solved, probably the mod is not running there or another mod is causing a conflict.
      And what you said doesn’t make sense, the OLA percentage is the percentage of your PC’s RAM, and MixSets overrides the value (since it doesn’t make much sense to define this by your PC’s RAM, it’s about mods installed).

      • Ok, you definitely did your tests but you only say about RoSA Evolved and you do not say if it is in combination with Project2DFX. Test without Project2DFX, without fog, go up to Mad Dog’s house and you will see the blue holes.           Exactly, Dude that what i told here, meaning 2GB from MixSets and 2GB from OLA 4GB if you use largeaddress but the 4GB is 3,5GB in real and that’s why game menu doesn’t load unless you reduce the value either of MixSets or OLA or both.

        i use IfBiggerThan = 10000
        my memory load only ~300 mb
        but when i use IfSmallerThan = 3000
        my memory load ~1400
        AND IfSmallerThan doesnt work then i use IfBiggerThan more then 0

  12. Great mod for now.

    There are 2 errors:

    1. If you have 1024 for StreamMemory in Mixmods and you are using RoSA settings, textures keeps dissapearing near you. If you use 2048 in Mixmods too, the problem is fixed. Should be this info in readme.txt?
    2. When I exit the game I get that crash Error: 0x00745AA5 as in “LoadWholeMap”, related with HD Pack cars (I have GTA V Vehicles to SA). What cars could be the problem?
        • I’ll report to the author, in fact it’s a crash that has to do with some poorl created car (probably shadow mesh that goes beyond the limits of the game). I remember I had this with a lamborghini and when I opened it up, its shadow mesh was super detailed, I cleaned up the shadow mesh and fixed it.

    Fastman92 Limit Adjuster has able to increase stream memory upto 4095mb

    but when use this mod, i not able to use 4095mb stream memory (as well as i put “;” in StreamMemoryForced option in improve streaming ini file, not work)

  14. Uma dúvida relacionada a esse tema, porque ao voar embaixo do mapa (seja com jetpack, Noclip ou outra forma) o mapa encima fica carregando e descarregando rapidamente sem parar? Digo isso numa gameplay normal, sem mods que alterem o streaming das coisas.

  16. Olá Junior_Djjr! No meu caso, o mod causou juntamente aquilo que se propõe a combater. Os buracos azuis no mapa não vi muito, mas os LODs aparecem na minha frente o tempo todo. Eu usei a configuração padrão do mod. Eu uso o Proper Fixes, e deletei os arquivos de imagem (.iso) originais do jogo (somente aqueles três que já estão presentes no Proper Fixes). Nunca tive problema com isso, mas será que tem alguma coisa a ver?

  17. My already goes to 3GB Ram consumption upon loading and then crashes when the memory reaches 3500-3600 MB. I’ve disabled like 200 Cleo Scripts, still haven’t been able to figure out what is causing this. I probably won’t be able to use this mod even tho I don’t have ROSA.

    • fr4me I guess you have MixSets and OLA in your game if yes then open OLA and reduce the memory to 15% so your problem will be solved!
      MixSets= 2048 – OLA= 15%(1024)

      The only reason I answered and made my proposal for a solution is not only for you but for all those who have this problem so if you tried it and it helped you please be honest and answer.

      • I managed to fix the issue by painstakingly removing cleos and asi one by one. It was Cheat Menu 2.3b LUA which was eating a GB or ram and EffectsLoader along with FxsFuncs where I installed Ezekiel’s Effects Mod (Not NextGen Effects, the one before that) which consumed about 1.6 Gbs of Ram. These two were my main issues.
